The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is still a wonderful smartphone that sports a high resolution display with a speedy processor. However, with the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 it has been all but pushed to the side with customers being able to select a much new gadget. Note: In order to do this, you will require to have your Samsung Galaxy Note 2 unlocked & rooted as you’ll require to install a custom ROM to your gadget. Always be sure to back up your device prior to doing any of these points.
Method:
One of the initial things you will require to make sure before starting the procedure is that your Galaxy Note 2 has been unlocked and you have root permissions.
Flash MJ5 Bootloader Firmware
First we’ll require to download the following files:-
- MJ5 Bootloader Firmware
- Odin 3.07
To flash the bootloader we’ll use Odin. If you’ve not done this before, here’s the method:
Step No 1: Open Odin
Step No2: Put your smartphone in Download Mode (Turn off your Galaxy Note 2 and hold the Volume down button, Power, and Home buttons at the same time).
Step No 3: Connect your Galaxy Note 2 to your PC & wait for Odin to recognize it.
Step No 4: Enable only F. Reset Time & Automatic Reboot.
Step No 5: Touch the Bootloader button and choose your MJ5 bootloader firmware you downloaded above.
Step No 6: Touch the start button and wait for your device to reboot.

Flash TWRP Recovery:-
Since your Galaxy Note 2 is already rooted, the easiest way to install the TWRP Recovery is through GOO Manager, which is available on the Play Store.
Once you have installed Goo Manager, then tap the menu button and select ‘Install OpenRecoveryScript’. Press Yes double & then the file will be downloaded and installed to your Galaxy Note 2.
Flash the DN3 V5 Rom:-
Just download either the Full or Lite version of the DN3 V5 ROM, choose the numbers of apps and options you want pre-installed and flash it to your gadget. Voila, you have got DN3 V5 on your Galaxy Note 2 and can access some of the best features of the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S5.
