Numerous AOSP based Android 5.0 ROMs are appearing the developer forums since the day the Android 5.0 Lollipop source code was published to the AOSP. Since these are developed from pure AOSP source code, they arrive without the Google services and you’ve to get a Gapps package to load this abyss. But the haunting thing is there is no proper Gapps package for Android 5.0 ROMs which takes the fun out of these develops.
On the other hand, there comes a workaround for all and this time it comes from drewwalton19216801 of XDA such as a minimal Android 5.0 Lollipop Gapps package. A full Gapps package would be all over 200-300MB depending on the number of Google services offered in the package.
