Hello World, today i am going to share AirDroid app. It is among the most popular apps available on Play Store for users. The app allows you to transfer files wirelessly to and fro from your device, view your SMS, call logs and much more via a browser window.
Nowadays, the app received a major update that delivers with it a plethora of new features that offer a major usability boost. The update is also along with dedicated apps for Windows & Mac based PCs that allow for advanced options such as notification and screen mirroring dubbed AirMirror. Unfortunately, the latter needs a rooted Android device running Kit-Kat or higher to perform, and even then it is a little bit finicky. When it works though, AirMirror allows you to control your device via a mouse and keyboard.
AirDroid 3 also supports mirroring of notifications that aren’t natively by it. It can now mirror Whatsapp notifications to your Computer, and even allows you to reply to them in actual time. The app is also more protected and supports End to End Encryption for all notifications, contacts data, account credentials and other sensitive information.
In its latest version, the AirDroid app for Windows & Mac allows you to reply to messages, calls, contacts and transfer files wirelessly. The good old web interface is still existing, and remains more potent than the app though.
