In this post, we’ll show you How to Update Moto G 2013 to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop OTA Update . You’ll be requiring Stock recovery for this OTA to install and also you must be running Stock Firmware, most probably the Android 4.4.4 to install this OTA update.

How to Update Moto G 2013 to Android 5.0.1:
Step 1: Download the zip file and rename it to OTA.zip
Step 2: Connect your Moto G with PC or Laptop.
Step 3: Open Command Prompt on Fastboot folder and type the following command:
adb reboot recovery
Step 4: Press the Volume Up key and Release it, you are in Recovery mode.
Step 5: Scroll down and Select, apply update from Sd Card.
Step 6: Select the OTA.Zip file and confirm the Installation.
Step 7: The Process will start and once it is over, your device will be running Android 5.0.1 Lollipop.
