Hi friends , Today I have good news for OnePlus X users. Now you can update your OnePlus X to new OxygenOS 2.2.2. The new update comes with lots of features and bug fixes. OnePlus X users unhappy from previous ROM but finally the new update will solve the problems.
This is the OTA update if you are not received the update alert so don’t worry in this post we will show you how to update Oneplus X to OxygenOS 2.2.2 manually. If you are interested then follow the guidelines below.

Preparation:
- Take the backup of all necessary data on Oneplus X before proceedings.
- At least 60% charge in the battery is necessary.
- Install Oneplus USB driver at your PC: Link
- Enable USB Debugging Mode from Settings => Developer options.
- Download OxygenOS 2.2.2 ROM zip file: Link
Steps to Install OxygenOS 2.2.2 on OnePlus X Smartphone:
- First of all, download the OxygenOS 2.2.2 ROM zip file from above link.
- Once the file downloaded then connect your phone to PC via USB cable and transfer that zip file on
your phone internal Memory. - Once the file transferred then switch off and boot your phone into Recovery Mode by the press and hold “Volume Down+Power Button”.
- Now your phone in recovery mode. Wipe data & cache if you want a clean installation or skip this step.
- Now tap on the “Install” Button from recovery and locate the zip file that you transferred to your phone.
- Now wait for some time for completion installation.
- Once the process completed then Reboot System.
That’s all, Now your Oneplus X smartphone running on the latest OxygenOS 2.2.2 OTA
update.
