Preparations:
There is a list of essential requires to be completed before you can actually proceed to the guidelines. Each of which must be completed or it will create threats during the process.
1) Install Samsung drivers on your Laptop or computer.
2) Enable USB Debugging in Settings, in case you don’t know, follow this guideline.
3) Backup your device internal storage, SMS, Contacts, Photos etc
4) Charge your Galaxy Tab above 60% battery level at least.
5) Download Odin 3.09 & extract the zip file: Odin_v3.09.zip
6) Download the firmware package: Just click here
7) Install WinRAR or any other related archive tool to extract the zip file.
Install KitKat 4.4.2 Firmware on Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1:
Step No 1: Extract the downloaded firmware package to a suitable place on your computer. You will have 3 files, the code, CSC and Modem. CSC & Modem are optional being present dependent upon the region your firmware file belongs to.
Step No 2: Open the extracted Odin folder and just double-click on Odin3_v3.09.exe to start the Odin program.
Step No 3: Ensure Auto Reboot & F.Reset Time are checked and anything else is not.
Step No 4: Power off your Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Press Volume Down, Home and Power buttons altogether until you see a warning message, then press the Volume Up key to boot your galaxy tab into Download Mode.
Step No 5: Connect the device to the Computer through USB cable.
Step No 6: The Odin window will show the ID:COM port if the connection has been established successfully. If not, be sure to Install the drivers properly.
Step No 7: Just click on the PDA tab & choose the firmware .tar or .tar.md5 file.
Step No 8: If the CSC and Modem files are available select the CSC file by clicking the CSC button & Modem file by Phone button.
Step No 9: Press Start button to initiate the flashing process. It will take a few mins to complete and thereafter the tab will reboot automatically.
