This overall mini flagship game is switching into a bit of a joke. When Steve Jobs introduced his 1st iPhone back in 2007, he sang praises of the phone’s “giant” 3.5 inch screen.
Today, even the so-known as “Minis” have larger sized displays than iPhones.
LG’s new mini flagship experiences from this similar dilemma. The LG G3 mini comes with a 5 inch HD display. Not exactly mini, is it? about 3-quarters of the front is screen, so at least it looks rather striking.
Under the cover is a 1.2Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, the similar class as in the Moto G but with a more superior display to handle. Accompanying it is Adreno 305, 1 GB ram memory & 8 GB inner storage. That last bit is expandable.
Such as the Galaxy S5 Mini, special features (and gimmicks) are kept. The 8 MP rear-shooter comes with the same, advanced Laser light AF system, as well as LED Flash. It also does 1080p video. Connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE & NFC.
Here’s the specifications once again:

Again, similar to the G3, you can take a selfie by clenching your fist in front side of the camera for 3 sec while the smart keyboard allows you type more accurately. Lastly, like every other mini flagships, the design is the almost the same, which is a good factor.
Yet, the fact is still that LG has essentially destroyed the overall purpose of a mini flagship. These smartphones are supposedly for people who are absent in space and don’t want to sense awkward keeping a large-sized phone to their face.
While the LG is not blatantly promotion the phone as a mini flagship, it is following the trend followed by a number of others: skimp down on functions, add only the gimmicks & retain the design.
