Microsof company has stopped selling retail copies of each Windows 7 & Windows 8 which means that the OEMs and retailers will no longer deliver the particular version of Windows.
From 31 Oct there will be no more sales to buyers of Windows 7 Home Basic, Home Premium and Ultimate. There’ll also be no more sales of Windows 8 retail box copies.
There will be retail box sales of Windows 8.1 and business and customers will still be ready to purchase Windows 8 Professional licenses through Downgrade Rights but with limited availability.
The end of time of sales of Windows 8.1 hasn’t yet been disclosed by the company.
