Hello friends, today my post about Toshiba new tablet. There might be plenty of room at the top but there seems to be even more at the bottom part. Days after HP introduced its affordable entry level Android 4.4 tablet Toshiba today manufactured an announcement of its own. The Toshiba Announces Excite Go tablet has a 7inch display & is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat, the newest iteration of Google’s mobile OS. It will appeal to users who do not want to spend too much on a tablet because it costs just $110.
Clearly the downside to an very affordable device for instance the Excite Go is that you don’t specifically get top-shelf specs. Powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor the tablet 7inch display has 1,024×600 pixel resolution. There’s only 8GB of on board storage but the good news is a microSD card slot makes expansion very easy.
Toshiba targeted on making the Excite Go light & compact. With a “Satin Gold” finish off the tablet only weighs 12.5 ounce and has been designed with single handed easy use in mind. The battery is claimed to be very good for up to 6 hours of video playback & 7.5 hours of basic use.
The Excite Go arrives pre-loaded with a full version of Office-Suite Pro which costs $14.99, allow for users to be productive on the go. Though power customers certainly won’t go for it. Even so Toshiba new tablet will be a good features for users who just want a tablet for casual web surfing around or e-book studying. It will be offered for $110 starting in early July from decide on retailers and Toshiba website.
