We’re living in the age of info and always dependent to the internet. You know very little when, out of nowhere you’ve to check the prices of a flight or to send an important mail for educational/professional tasks. In the periods of load shedding, you may face high level of discomfort because of absence of electricity. Or maybe you’re going to GT road (thanks to Telenor for offering free 3G access all over the GT road) and you are dying to use internet.
However you have to have at least one smartphone in your circle who’s connected to mobile data. There are unlimited data packages there from the telecom providers.
You’re having a fun gathering in your friends house where there is no broadband WiFi. Gently approach that friend who is having a mobile data package and follow these steps.
Step No 1: Go to smartphone “Settings” and see the “Wireless & Networks” option. Down below Data usage, there’s a option “More”
Step No 2: Simply click on More. Now you will see some options. Click on the “Tethering and portable hotspot”. Touch on that.
Step No 3: Now you must turn on “Wi-Fi hotspot” through the button.
Step No 4: To configure settings, hold the “Wi-Fi hotspot” key for some time which will be directed to a different box. You can modify the Network SSID name, alter the password and can control the number of users from there. There are mostly 8 number of users are granted.
Now to enjoy the WiFi internet, just turn WiFi from your smartphone, find the network and connect after inserting the password.
